one changes everything | adoption t-shirts

Yes, it’s been quiet around here on the blog. Though life isn’t fooled! We’ve been completely busy with finishing up our 2013-2014 school year, working on getting all the “early” things planted in the garden, and we have no doubt been very busy with more paper work for our adoption.The adoption is moving along rather quickly. {No bumps in the road yet, but I’m sure some will surface eventually.} We’ve been asked where we are at in our adoption process  –  so it’s probably time for an official…ADOPTION UPDATE

We’ve been very busy ordering important documents, notarizing paperwork for our dossier {the LARGE file containing important records & letters and other paperwork that will be eventually sent to China.} Along with finishing up the second group of paperwork for our home study {an assessment of adoptive parents along with an extensive study course that must be completed before our dossier can be sent to China.} This also must be completed before we can apply for any adoption grants.

My husband and I created our very own shirts for our lovely adoption supporters! We didn’t want to create a “very personal” shirt that only applied to our adoption, or even adoption in general. Mainly Because…we believe it only takes one person to change everything. One person’s actions might not be able to adopt a child, one person’s actions might not be able change someone’s heart, one person’s actions alone won’t bring the lost to the Lord. But it ONLY TAKES ONE PERSON – to make a change, which really changes everything! Everything for the recipient who profits from your kindness and love!

So we’re wanting to encourage you wherever you are, whatever you do, wherever you’ve been called to serve, do ALL to the glory of the LORD {1 Cor. 10:31}.

And don’t just dream and talk about change  – “Be the Change!”

All t-shirts purchased help us earn a little extra money – which goes straight towards our adoption.

Our goal is to sell 60 shirts. Once we meet that goal – our shirts will go to print and shipped right to your door {if that is what you’ve chosen.} You will NOT be charged for your shirt  UNTIL we meet our goal. And if we DO NOT meet our goal, our shirts will NOT be printed and you will not be charged or receive a shirt.

If we meet our goal before our  fundraising time frame ends May 12th, 2014 – Our t-shirt sales will keep going, therefore blowing it out of the water and helping us all the more!

So we’re coming out of our comfort zone and humbly asking for your help. By sharing these t-shirts via social media, and with your friends & family it has a better chance of spreading further – meeting our goal that much sooner!
