July 22, 2015 – saw her sweet face on the CCAI website.
August 16, 2015 – we asked to see her file, after seeing her face so often on the site, and other advocacy sites.
August 17, 2015 – we were informed this little girl had a long list of families, and we’d be added to that list to review her file. (We never anticipated we’d ever see her file.)
September 1, 2015 – to our surprise that little girls file was emailed to us for review!!! – We asked for prayer warriors to pray for wisdom and peace as we had a decision to make soon. They just didn’t know what decision they were praying for. 😉 We quickly sent her medical files to 2 specialists for extensive reviews.
September 2, 2015 – After parting our ways for the day – baba & mama came back in the afternoon after prayer, and were united in the same direction to move forward! We were matched with our new daughter, by that evening!
September 3, 2015 – submitted our LOI {letter of intent) to CCCWA saying that YES, we want to adopt this girl!
September 12th, 2015 – new adoption application approved! Officially able to reuse the dossier we used with our last adoption!
September 15, 2015 – we announced our adoption to the Munchkins! They were very excited!!
September 19, 2015 – first home study visit, and able to combine our 6 month post home study visit with our last adoption 🙂
September 20, 2015 – little girl’s file locked in!!!
September 28, 2015 – PA!!!!!!!!!!!! Pre-approval from Chin@ to adopt!
October 1, 2015 – Announced our Adoption with a video. 🙂
October 13, 2015 – Updated FBI Fingerprints
October 15, 2015 – Updated Home Study Medical Check-ups
October 30th, 2015 – Home Study sent to adoption agency for critical review! And received verbal approval!!! COMPLETED HOME STUDY!!!!
November 4th, 2015 – Overnighted our Supplement 3 for our I-800, to file for an extension of our US immigration. Cutting it close! It expires 11.20!
November 6th, 2015 – Package sent to Adie!
November 9th, 2015 – USCIS application/petition received at Lock-box.
November 12th, 2015 – Our homemade China cookie cutter sales began.
November 13th, 2015 – Received Receipt Notice for Form I-797.
November 14th, 2015 – Massive Eyeball Popping Garage Sale & Silent Auction
November 18th, 2015 – Adie receives our package!
November 20th, 2015 – Receive pictures and short video clip of Adie with her package. <3
November 21st, 2015 – Discovered a small flaw in our finalized home study. 🙁
November 25th, 2015 – Received our amended home study, and overnighted it to USCIS.
December 18, 2015 – USCIS Immigration/Fingerprint Refresh Approval!
December 21, 2015 – USCIS Immigration (1-800a) APPROVED!!!!!
December 22, 2015 – USCIS Immigration (I-800a) notarized!
December 23, 2015 – USCIS Immigration Mailed for authentication.
December 31, 2015 – Immigration document arrived back with it’s proper authentication – sent onto Washington, DC for certification!!!
January 06, 2016 – Got an update on our sweetie! She needs to come home – praying the rest of the process speeds up quickly!
January 21, 2016 – Received our I800a Authenticated Document from DC!!!!!!!!! (Missed one document that needed Authentication.)
January 22, 2016 – Made a last minute run to get certification of Notary for our Adoption Petition on the State level & overnighted it to the Courier.
January 26, 2016 – Dossier checked in with Adoption Agency – for critical review & translation!!! (All but one file that will arrive Friday.)!!!!!!!!!
January 30, 2016 – DTC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Dossier to China!!!!)
February 01, 2016 – Dossier delivered to CCCWA!!!!!!!!!!! We’re finally rolling!!!
February 02, 2016 – LID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Dossier Logged in!!!!!!!!!!)
February 08, 2016 – Our 160 Pieces of Adie Story Puzzle project was started.

March 28, 2016 – Got word that our the CCCWA was missing page 8 of our dossier. (Our agency said it was sent to them – nothing on our end.) Praying the issue will be resolved soon.

April 13, 2016 – Soft LOA!!!!!!!!!!! (Day 72 of our wait.)
April 19, 2016 – I-800 Arrived at Texas lock-box!!!!

May 13, 2016 – Got our GUZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!

June 23, 2016 – After 31 hours of crazy, stinky, exhaustion laden delays, and new experiences – we finally arrived in Shanghai.
June 24, 2016 – Arrived in Linyi after a short flight, and drove 1.5 hours to The Village. (Unofficial introduction day!!!) <3
June 25, 2016 – Left The Village. Arrived at the Orphanage in Ruzhou.
June 26, 2016 – Left the Orphanage for Zhengzhou!!!
June 27, 2016 – <3 FINALLY IN OUR ARMS. <3
July 2, 2016 – Arrived in Guangzhou.
July 6, 2016 – Consulate Appointment!
July 8, 2016 – Left by train…and arrived at our hotel in Hong Kong.
July 9, 2016 – Arrived in Tokyo, Japan early am.
