the sweet & simple blessings of life | february 2014

“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy – meditate on these things.” Philippians 4:8

I’m learning to train my eyes, my heart and mind to look for the beautiful things. Philippians 4:8. Keeping my mind focused on the Lord

So through a heart, seeking that which is good – I’ve started giving thanks once again in 2014. It’s in giving thanks, I’m finding beauty. Beauty that makes my soul want to sing of His unfailing, unwavering goodness and grace. I’d love for you to join me in counting our blessings!

{the sweet & simple blessings of life}
for which I am forever grateful. | February 2014

“I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.” Psalm 13:6

1st:  Christian friendships may end here on this earth, but they are never goodbyes – only see you laters. Oh, the HOPE we have in Christ.

2nd: For the snow & the cold – allowing long periods of cuddling.
3rd: Natural oils the Lord has provided for natural healing.

4th: Men who can stand boldly and professionally and proficiently share truth. #debate2014 and little ones can learn and participate too. #faceofkenham | J – 6 years old

6th: Dreams shared together with my man.

7th: How God provides in His own timing exactly what we need, when we need it.

8th: Opportunities in life that make us uncomfortable. For it is those moments that mold us and shape us.

11th: A husband I can trust when we are apart.

12th: Snowman makin’ days for the Munchkins.

15th:
for young adult teens willing to give of their time, talents and service to the Lord to bring together an elaborate and very elegant Valentine Banquet at Church.

16th: For relief for a very sick toddler & for urgent care now open on weekends. Saving us a trip to the ER and more money in our pocket.

17th: Dreams that are so close, yet still so far away. With God ALL things are possible. Trusting His timing.

18th: For food stretching way beyond our earthly expectations. Only God can stretch & give us what we need all at the same time. He provides.

19th: For my health, while learning to care for my body naturally. Thankful to be here.

“Never
lose an opportunity for seeing anything that is beautiful; For beauty
is God’s handwriting–Welcome it in every fair face, in every fair sky,
in every fair flower, And thank God for it as a cup of His blessing.”
– Ralph Waldo Emerson
