Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy – meditate on these things. Philippians 4:8
I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me. Psalm 13:6
15th: For an absolutely gorgeous sunrise. And for the beautiful, creative and talented daughter who captured such beauty.
16th: For the sweet I love you’s not just in word but in deed. ; ) Also thankful for a hard working man that cleaned the back deck and made it look like new!
17th: For the melt your heart moments that occur on a daily basis, and are sometimes the ones we often forget to thank the Lord for. This little man came into the kitchen giving me the weather report for the week.
18th: Being able to sell more items, while watching our adoption goal lower! Praising the LORD for the great things he has done, and still continues to do! For those asking – we are still making and selling the State, Country & Continent Necklaces if you‘d like something pretty to wear, and want to know that every penny goes towards bringing a little one home to her family. We’d be honored. Or if you are going through an adoption yourself – you can also earn money for your adoption through the Hands & Feet Program!
- For friends who have a heart for adoption – My friend Amber is also donating earnings from our Thirty-One Party to go towards our adoption as well!
19th: For another adoption milestone – important dossier documents on route for certification & authentication. : ) We’re on the down hill stretch now!
20th: For the chance to grab some groceries before the new week begins, and for a compiled menu plan for the rest of the month on into the first week of October! Thank you, Plan to Eat!
21st: I can truthfully say I don’t enjoy days with sick babies. However, it does make me more thankful for the healthy days that go by that we so often forget to give thanks for.
- For missing a time of fellowship with our Church family. And praying that next week looks brighter with no sickness in sight.
- For a great year that involved very little sickness at all.
- For the chance to whip up a bit of happy and a hint of sunshine for my sick tribe on a Sunday afternoon. It brought smiles, a few extra vitamins and completely too much bad sugar. ; )
Never lose an opportunity for seeing anything that is beautiful; For beauty is God’s handwriting–Welcome it in every fair face, in every fair sky, in every fair flower, And thank God for it as a cup of His blessing. – Ralph Waldo Emerson
