God’s “lovingkindness” is better than anything to which we might now compare.
So it should be held with great value. His lovingkindness is of greater worth than even the best of our human experiences. In short, God’s lovingkindness is “better than life.”

May we choose to praise Him in the good times and bad!

October 5th, my hubby and I were out of town, when my Dad called to tell us the bad news. Carissa {my 19 year old sister} was given 2-4 months to live.
Her cancer had spread, and now had 4 tumors on her lungs and a mass growing outside of her left lung.

So much crying and so much praying going on that Sunday evening.

On our way home, along the interstate we saw a cloud with the colors of a rainbow on it.
I’d never seen anything quite like it. It was very beautiful.

With tears in my eyes – I looked out the window to see “IT’S A GOD THING” plastered across the bumber of a semi.

As we exchanged smiles, my husband said  “How appropriate.”

Carissa went in early that next Monday morning for tests to be sent on down to Texas before her arrival. {A hospital down there with more advanced medical options, she was headed to.} After 3 different tests and a number of different doctors looking at her tests with disbelief, her tumors were GONE! So much shock, disbelief and excitement going on. With words none of us could find…but THANK YOU, LORD!
Today Carissa’s lung cancer is in remission! We are praising and thanking the Lord for His faithfulness and undeserving goodness.
It’s truly a “God thing!”
We truly have so many blessings to be thankful for!

What are yours?

“Bless the LORD, O my soul; and forget none of His benefits.”

“Because Thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips will praise Thee.”

“I will give thanks to Thee, O LORD my God, with all my heart, and will glorify Thy name forever.”

“Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!”
