I’m learning to train my eyes, my heart and mind to look for the beautiful things. Philippians 4:8. Keeping my mind focused on the Lord.
So through a heart, seeking that which is good – I’ve started giving thanks once again in 2014. It’s in giving thanks, I’m finding beauty. Beauty that makes my soul want to sing of His unfailing, unwavering goodness and grace. I’d love for you to join me in counting our blessings!
for which I am forever grateful. | April 2014
“I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.” Psalm 13:6

small group of like-minded Mom’s digging in God’s word and encouraging
each other in our motherhood, homeschooling and encouraging each other
to grow deeper with Jesus. {And no gossip present.} <3 it!
11th: For the hubs and I surviving a 12 hour fast – for labs. Before we know it, this adoption process will come to an end. Thankful also for being able to grab a quick bite to eat before heading our separate ways. Precious moments that are rare these days.
12th: Once a month fellowships with our great group of teens from Church.
14th: Applying for our passports, and getting more documents ordered & notarized. Each day only brings us that much closer to holding our new little one. <3
15th: After 24 days without a dryer – I was blessed with a NEW ONE! Isn’t it a beauty?!
17th: For the chance to be able to meet up with a friend I’ve known for 16 years, and haven’t seen in SEVERAL years! {Started out as pen pals and now long lasting friends.} <3 And for my Momma who could watch the Munchkins while we visited.
18th: For a husband who tries his very best to surprise me, and loves me despite the discoveries that get noticed, before it’s time. ;0)
19th: For 32 years of life. And for 25 of those being secure in God’s grace and heaven bound when this life is over, And for two very Godly parents who raised me up to know Jesus on my own, and who I believe gave me a good “head start” on life. For 16 years of knowing my life long sweetheart – and almost 12 years of those being married, for 11+ of those years of being a mommy….for all the trials and blessings the Lord has allowed to occur in my life. Still growing & learning…and oh, so very blessed. <3For a gorgeous
day, being able to work in the garden planting potatoes, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, lettuce & spinach. For watching my husband and oldest son plant my birthday tree! For the
Munchkins who love their Momma deeply – and who thoroughly decorated the dining room for my birthday celebration. For a husband who surprises me often and for a husband who made dinner along with one
of my favorite strawberry desserts. Thank you, Lord – I’m so loved and spoiled greatly.
20th: For Resurrection Sunday. Because without Christ’s death on the cross, this life would be worth nothing. But, because of His love & grace, He’s made it EVERYTHING. Life with meaning, and truly one worth living for.
For a Resurrection Sunday, spent with my husbands family ALL at Church,
and for being able to enjoy the rest of the day spent with my family. So, so,
blessed!
21st: For MONDAY. Yes, I said it! Because Monday, allows me to start a new week FRESH. Bringing with it new goals to make this new week even better then the last!
22nd: For crazy days in Motherhood, I’m certain they will be missed. Every. Single. One.
