Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy – meditate on these things. Philippians 4:8
{the sweet & simple blessings of life}
for which I am forever grateful. | september 8th-14th  2014

I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.  Psalm 13:6

8th: For peaceful moments, a time of quit and a time for rest.

9th:
For important letters & packages, and God’s will in every area of our lives.

10th: Thankful for a job my husband has to provide for our family. Even if it means late nights and travel too far often than I like. For the Lord’s protection for my husband and our family while we are apart.

11th: For the small crop of apples, pears and grapes we were blessed with this year, even after a rough spring and extremely rainy summer. And so very thankful for a bountiful crop last year that made up for this year. ; )

  • And for the blessing of canning and preserving, because even though we received no peaches this year, we still have a whole storage cellar of canned peaches and fillings to still enjoy this winter from lasts years bounty. : )

12th:
For sale racks, good buys and growing children. : )

  • For helping hands no matter how small, for big tools, and little boys who love being daddies helpers. And for good daddies who don’t mind the extra help, no matter how much longer the job will take. : )

  • For the unexpected indoor surprises our children find at eye level. And for a sweet sweet husband who captures their view with a photo.

13th: For a couple weeks into our new tradition. Saturday, afternoon tea. For the choice and opportunity to take a break in the busyness of life and just enjoy the people around us over a little sip of tea and “crumpets”.

14th: For a good study on the Rapture, and the Tribulation at Church. For a sweet lady who cared for the small children during the Sunday morning session. : )

  • For a lovely Sunday afternoon and evening we could enjoy as a family. And for a much needed time with daddy. <3

Never lose an opportunity for seeing anything that is beautiful; For beauty is God’s handwriting–Welcome it in every fair face, in every fair sky, in every fair flower, And thank God for it as a cup of His blessing. – Ralph Waldo Emerson
